MDC President Morgan Tsvangirai was, today, eventually sworn in as Prime Minister amid ecstatic celebration and optimistic exhilaration. A general mood sweeping across the country is that of energised hope, and optimism of a better promise for the future. Why? For the simple reason that the general populace of Zimbabweans across the political divide see Morgan Tsvangirai, and not President Robert Mugabe, as now a symbol of strength, vitality and hope for the nation. Even supporters of Robert Mugabe see some light at the end of the tunnel in the person and policies of Tsvangirai!

Zimbabweans need to see things beginning to happen in their full reality. They are, and have been for a very long time now, weary of empty political promises, delayed social justice and unfruitful economic policies. The glimer of hope that many Zimbos carry today can only be sustained if cheap politicking by concerned parties is avoided at all cost. Commitment to the national interest is what Zimbabbweans need right now. Otherwise, today's ceremonies are merely going to serve as good historical information meant only for text books and not any significant, immediate change Zimbabweans so desperately deserve. In fact, why have they had to suffer for so long? For what end? Political will is really important at this point to make things work for many, suffering.

All thngs as from now on need to work for good for the general population of Zimbabwe. health, education and basic sustainance for all Zimbabweans should be a top priority for politicians.

The newly sworn in PM should have learn from those who have been in office for some time now. While he himself might be a product of the system that he has so unflinchingly fought agaist, he needs to be aware that CHANGE means being able to rise above the systems.

Congratulations to every Zimbabwean! Viva to all thos ewho stood by Zimbabwe during its turbulent times! We still need your prayers and support, there is still a pace to run.
